First Half did great at building up the tension, but the second half feels like it’s dragging. Hoping it picks up in the next conflict.

By going back to the understanding of western conquest that men of the 1800s aspired to, Oluo directly shows how the purpose and intention of white male conquest wasn’t just an idea that spurred, it became for many a purpose

So far I have read the Introduction and Part of the first chapter.

One of the first things I noticed was how well Oluo laid out her argument in a way that does not demean what White Men go through, but actively show and exempligy how larger powers at be can use this white male medicroty and turn it into a tool for keeping the current class structure in place. Easier to control white working people that way.
