The opening chapter did a really good job of reviving classic examples of white western male aggression not just being something that occurred, but is deeply embedded in our national identity.

So far I have read the Introduction and Part of the first chapter.
One of the first things I noticed was how well Oluo laid out her argument in a way that does not demean what White Men go through, but actively show and exempligy how larger powers at be can use this white male medicroty and turn it into a tool for keeping the current class structure in place. Easier to control white working people that way.
