Still nothing has happened. This book is a waste of time of my time. I’m starting to get distracted like “maybe I have some cleaning to do?” When it gets to the point where I’d rather be cleaning than reading you know there is a problem.

Also, no spice at all. Not even an inking of spice or romance. These people could be random classmates for how platonic everything is.

These people aren’t even attempting to find the artifact that’s controlling the teachers. They’re just sitting around talking and complaining and practice fighting. They’re all depressed that they can’t leave until they break the enchantment, but they’re doing nothing! They aren’t taking any steps to break the control at all. This is so aggravating!!

43% into the book and absolutely nothing has happened. No plot/storyline progression. No relationship development. No character development. Nothing at all. It feels pointless. I doubt this is going to be the last book in the series because this feels like a “filler” book.

FMC has had about four interactions with any of her “guys”, combined. We still don’t know anything about them; almost no character development. Still no world building, except we now know that fated mates are a normal thing.

Why isn’t there any world building?? I’m so confused about what is going on. Who are the ‘Old Ones’? Are there designations in this world? Are fated mates normal? Does every female have a heat?

Almost halfway through this final book and FMC still doesn’t understand anything. Her magic is still almost completely untrained. None of them have even left the Guardian grounds throughout this entire series yet either.

Omg… the “I love you’s” are coming out and I’m pretty sure they don’t even like each other. I’m pretty sure Garrett has never even smiled at Emma and now he supposedly loves her? Uhhh…no.

If Emma were an animal she would be a meerkat.

I’m getting sick of her, I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to stick this out if she doesn’t grow at least a little backbone.

Also, she has the disposition of a nun. I’m pretty sure Garrett’s feet would scandalize her.

No relationship development at all. Is this gonna be a clean romance book? This girl just about faints if anyone even mentions underwear so I just don’t see sexy times in her future

45% and FMC is still in the dark about everything. No hints of any type of wolf power or magic or anything whatsoever. She is still just a normal human girl. Girl, not woman. She may be 18, but she acts 16. With Garret acting 35 (even though he’s supposedly 22) it feels like he’s closer to a father figure than a lover or boyfriend.

Why am I so bored with this book already? I’m giving it a second chance since I DNF’d it the first time.

What is wrong with the world that THIS could be considered romance?! Threatening to kill a woman isn’t romantic. Strangling her and hitting her in anger isn’t romantic. I’m close to DNFing this book.

If you take away the FMC’s vagina and her title of princess there would be nothing left of this girl. She’s like an empty placeholder without personality or hopes or dreams or thoughts. I’ve never read a book where the FMC is so empty.

Okay, the boyfriend is a douche. I change my mind. She can complain about his tiny dick again.

I’m literally in the first chapter and this FMC is not making a good impression on me. Talk about a Debbie Downer! She has spent pages and pages just complaining about everything: her boyfriends small dick, her boyfriend in general (he seems nice!), all her ex’s, all men in general, her roommate’s name, her roommate, bad sex, the circus…. I’m telling you, I don’t like this girl so far.

I don’t like betrayal from within the harem. I’m not one of those people who can just forgive them later. Once betrayed I’d cut my losses. No second chances. Especially when my life and others are at risk. Nope.

Now I’m pissed and I’m considering not even finishing this book.

I’m super nervous about starting this book. I just KNOW she’s gonna pull off some George RR Martin shit and kill off my favorite people.

Also, I swear to god if she ruins Hunt and Bryce I’m going to revolt.

Don’t lie to yourself girlfriend. He literally threw you across the room in anger, smashed you against the wall, and threatened to kill you yesterday. He wants to completely control you and doesn’t feel guilty at all about it. You don’t have a partnership.

This is unacceptable. I realize Carrick is an angry asshole but for him to be violent physically toward Finley is not okay in the slightest. This isn’t cute or romantic or ‘steamy attraction’. There is nothing acceptable about domestic abuse.

I’m so bored!

Carrick is a super mean asshole. I wonder if they’re mates and he absolutely detests that. It could explain their connection and why he hates her so much.

How many books in this series am I supposed to read where he acts like this to her?

I’m getting pretty annoyed with our FMC at this point. I get that she’s supposed to be a super ultra extra nice and sweet girl…but seriously. Does she need to be a doormat? Almost every person she comes in contact with treats her like garbage and she never, ever stands up for herself. She just carries on letting people treat her like crap. That’s not fun to read.

This reads like a YA, it’s a bit annoying. The amount of giggling is exasperating. She is supposed to be queen but no one treats her like a queen. The process of finding and picking out mates is boring. The insta love is annoying.

I have to say…so far I really don’t like Jack. At. All.

Also, I’m pretty certain I can guess what is going to happen and it’s going to be “the big misunderstanding” where asshole hurts her and she runs off back home.

I’m not impressed with this book so far. The dialogue is simple and juvenile. The sex scenes are less erotic and more ‘one and done’. Their interactions are weird too.

I’m getting a bit bored with how Con is whining and acting out. I’m kinda annoyed with him so far. I hope this changes.

We just learned that Emily is 20.
Is it bad that I can hardly remember her name while reading the book?

I’m getting tired of this girl waxing poetic every time H walks in the room. I mean, we get it, he’s hot! We don’t need an entire page paragraph about what he looks like every damn second.
