Audio. Nice try. Veterinarian pins after a widowed judge. She thinks he is the perfect man, but she can't have him because she lost her husband.
He is the nicest guy and treats all her animals for free. He would do that for everyone, of course. And fixes her sink as HER payment to HIM. Holy cow. DNF.

Audio. It's me, it's not the book. This was more like background noise to me than a story, I never really got into it. I used to love Sean Stranahan stories!

I am in a reading (listening) slump, just can not find a book anymore I am interested in. Maybe going back to the roots, where it all began, will help? I haven't read Janet Dailey books in 20 years!

Audio. Kind of a Huckleberry Finn story, entertaining enough, even though I can do without the grace of God.

I started to get really bored at about 40% in, after that it's really only repetition of the same thoughts and feelings. So far in, now I am forced to finish to find out how the problem is solved. I sure hope it will be worth it!
2 stars at the most due to nice story, but way too long.

Audio. DNF not for a bad book or story, but for a rather weird narration and too many noise effects that are too distracting to me while driving or doing outside chores. I never know which sound is real and which one comes from the audio.

The suddenly ex-cop, who runs a food truck as a side business, sets out to save the city from a terrorist attack all by himself while lusting after a married woman. I am usually very forgiving with audio books, but this is a DNF for me.

Audio. Full disclosure: the only reason I am listening to it is because I love the narrator, Will Watt. But I am suspicious that not even he can save the flimsy story ...

ebook. Sorry, it is cute and sweet as all the Sunday Brother books, but the preoccupation with saving the place from developers is getting tiring, and also the pages of THINKING "I want but I can't" (why?) is getting very old.

Audio. DNF at 35%.
I can't believe I made it so far. And that this is the same author as Boyfriend Material and such contemporary gay romances.
These people only think. And grief. And do more thinking. And contemplating. So much DRAMA! Just the reason why I left F/M romances behind.

Audio - and I should write this in all caps. Because I am not even sure if I liked the story, but the narrator is just awesome! Will Watt will be a name I'll be looking up in the future!

Audio with technical issues. I might just give up, I do not like the flash back story line anyways. Too much personal drama as well. Give me a criminal story any time, weave in some romance is okay too, but drama? No, thanks!

Audio. Having read the following books in the series first I was shocked to meet Angie Polaski as likeable character. I hated her in the later books, of course ...

Audio. Solid story from CJ Box, not quite as crazy as some of his last books were, so that is good!
3.5 stars - I think Joe is getting a bit tired.

Audio. I thought it was about time to suffer through this ridiculously hyped book. But I am only at 7% and already annoyed at an exceptionally arrogant male protagonist and a pathetic "ohhhhh myyyyyyyy!" female.
So this will probably (for sure) go into dnf land.

I really enjoyed this story. Until about now (half way through) when the only encounters are related to having sex.

One of the better ones in the series, probably because I could follow it ;-)

This one hits every cliche imaginable, but at 12% in I still don't know which of these people the hopeful couple is, so whom am I even rooting for?
The twisted ankle was the last straw after Vegas wedding, hateful boss, awkward employee, BFF-girlfriend, rich-poor, ...

That must have been so forgettable, a month later I don't remember anything about this short story. 2 stars.

solid read, newbie female cop working with mostly hostile senior cops, lots of womanizers and homophobes, solving a case of a serial killer who targets cops and kills them execution style. 3.5 star

Audio. I did not care much for the narration, the narrator had a funny lilt to all the sentences.
This was about Rose's half sister, and it really wasn't very captivating. One should think the girl exploring her powers would be supergirl-cool. It was not.

Connor is searching for an Indian girl that was trafficked from a guy named Windigo. This makes barely 3 star, and old Indian Henry was getting on my nerves with his wise talking.

This one was a bit of a downer after the awesome last book in the series. Quaid came over as very self-centered and whiny, his dad was a major a-hole, and the plot of the investigation was pretty uninspired if not outright bad. Sorry, 3 stars sorely for *swoon* Aslan!

Well. After the high of the second book, here I dislike the dad, I find Quaid exceptionally whiny, needy, and annoying, I feel very sorry for Aslan (whom I love with all my heart, at least he TRIES to be a good person), and I feel the mystery is thrown a bit out of proportions. Everyone is so hung up on a 30 year old case, while a currently missing child gets just scratched over.

audio, well narrated.
Cork's best friend dies in the woods with an arrow through his heart, while Cork is watching. Did he shoot the arrow? That's one possible scenario.
The story unravels the relationship between the two friends since high school.
Not my favorite, I am not a fan of flash backs. Still 3 stars for a solid story.

yeah. No. I'll give up the second time around. Even though I really like Shadow.

re-read as audio. I thought I would get through it as audio (doesn't need to keep my attention as much as a written book does) after I abandoned the book a couple of years ago. I may not. This is just beyond weird, and where is the story?
