this book is pissing me off so much

every time white queer authors try to describe their poc partners by emphasising their skin colour i get the ick especially when there isn't as much character description for anyone else, this was something the writer of The Seep did too and i was like ://///

such a beautiful beautiful book already!! the pictures are reminding me so much of india and i have been missing home lately so the story of being a foreigner in a country is really working for me

i really want them to meet each other and it feels very dragged but it might just be me needing a quicker read rn so i am going to pick this up later

the prose is insanelyyy gooooddd i am so so stunneddd reading every night, i am finally looking forward to my reading time again aaaaa
