Ollie had specifically asked Becky to help her with the details of the children’s workshop. The number of parents needed to help and how to make sure they actually show up should have been discussed there. It’s on Becky that she only shared her concerns after the event.

It’s been a week and no further mention of the famous author that might visit the shop. Not from Ollie to her boss, nor from the editor to Ollie.

On a ghost walk everyone is scarred when they see a light that matches the story just told. What? There were no people on the tour that don’t believe in ghosts bur just come for the atmosphere and stories? They wouldn’t be scared, they’d be curious.

Finally, Charlie had “the” conversation with Brett and it was heated and livestreamed and not written as a scene in the book.
Now I have to take everyone else’s word for it that she was harsh on Brett.

Ain’t Miguel just about perfect for Cass? His lack of personality a perfect fit for her lack of character.

In my head I’m totally rewriting this where Cass falls for Austin because he manages to tease out the bad-ass chick in her.

Charlie admits to Cass that she hasn’t gotten through to Brett yet. Without mentioning that she hasn’t even so much as tried to get through to him.

Charlie continues to be spineless. Brett, whom she doesn’t even like, rubs her arm thinking she’s Cass, and she doesn’t immediately point out to him that Cass dumped him and that he can’t do that anymore.

Cass meets Austin who immediately starts rubbing her shoulders and like her sister, she does not tell him off about it. How is a guy with grabby hands still in television, by the way?

Charlie tells her sister she has a little concussion and Cass thinks so that’s why I’m having a headache. Then Charlie lays out her plan to swap lives, and not once Cass asks: should you be doing this with a concussion? She even suggests her sister drives somewhere. With a concussion. That is actually dangerous to OTHER people too.

The obvious question is: how can someone witness what happens in a hidden room if they are not a member of the party of six in the room?
