I’m back in the building (4th readthrough here we go)

Cute thus far, but little detail (this is mostly facetious): So Holly is from Boston and used to “maintain the aquarium tank at the children’s museum”? I assumed this was referring to a children’s museum in SF, but the next sentence said she worked as a waitress there. The children’s museum in Boston has no aquarium!

Who is this?? This is NOT my Vianne Rocher. I get that after everything that happened with Zozie she’d be cautious by my god. I absolutely loved Vianne in the other three books but what a heel turn in this one.

“What if your husband wronged you?” she asks.
“I’d follow my own advice.”
“One of your daughters?”
“That’s different.”
“Why?”
“Because I’m their parent. I brought them into this world. It’s my job to put them first, always.” (246)

Gosh I WANT to believe this is an Eumenides reference, especially because it’s Thea (Athena) who says it. If so, Stacey Swann has my heart.
