HELLO?????? finally after ive put it on my tbr for YEARS????? +++ ari is so... exceptional. my own book has its own ari in it & theyre so similar n different in a lot of ways. & i love his voice in this, u know? very much a 15 year old.

this book is truly, really, everything i've dreamed of. discussions of sound, meter (even though i still cant absorb any of it #justESLtingz), stanza... and oh my god mary oliver's personal voice in this is T___T <3

welcome, another book which hath made me cry!!!! there's just something abt this book that wrecks me up so much. how much barbara reminds me of myself. how helen is the opposite of me & how she is also me. how i wish family was in orbit in my case instead of satellites escaping orbit. it's just - everything. this is definitely going into my personal canon list.

i've been reading this on & off on my phone for commute & omg... like... the emotions i have (good & bad) for every character!!!!!!!

i get why some ppl are put off by the prose but honestly as u read more... you get into it. like A Lot. it's so much, so brutal, so tender... as expected of vuong honestly!!!!
