I fell in love with Brian's comedic poetry on Twitter and Facebook and admit that some of these poems go right over my head, but I've still been enjoying 90% of them. Compilation Cassette, At the Intersection, Night Vision, Sporkle, Choreplay, and The Day That Twitter Went Down are a few of my favorites so far. It's a very eclectic mix of funny, intellectual, and somewhat inappropriate.

The child rape, forced prostitution, and sexual assault topics are a little much for me, so the first hundred or so pages had me wanting to put the book down. I haven't DNF'd a book a in years, though, and I have to believe there's redemption at some point with such a high rating on Goodreads and Amazon...

Loving the story so far, but took a little while to get used to so many points of view.

"...you don't get love by acting unlovable."

Not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't a talking dog. Paul is talking to his dog about someone maybe dying and this made me laugh:

"If he goes, it means more food for you."
"It's not a question of food," Paul said.
"Paul, everything is a question of food."
