Serena had nightmares just like Ana! Coincidence? I think there’s definitely a relationship and history between them!

Lowe’s description of how he wouldn’t put the burden on his mate of that fact and he would take anything she’d offer but never take anything away from her was so beautiful. Misery has to be the mate!

Such a fun read- finding myself smiling and laughing often. Ana is so cute and not annoying, Misery is very funny and witty, and her making fun of Alex and teasing him is entertaining. And the sweet moments are endearing. Misery is finally starting to feel what it’s like to be around others who don’t hate her

Enjoying this book very much so far, especially the little gestures and looks and other moments between Lowe and Misery. The way he put peanut butter in her fridge, turned up the temperature, gave her his sweatshirt. And the stares! And when he stops and smells her scent! She thinks it’s because he hates it but I’m smiling because I think it’s the opposite and he is very drawn to her which is so satisfying

The hate Vampyres have for Misery is so weird and ironic to me. She had no choice in becoming the Collateral and yet people hate her simply for that reason.

If it’s a guy obsessed with the girl, could it be Stu obsessed with Laurie? Or John obsessed with either Jennifer or Jamie?

Literally couldn’t agree more with Sam. She’s infuriating. Dragging everyone along, lying to herself, being a superficial and lesser version of herself. And she keeps touching Sam! Stop!

All of these decisions to appease to Jacks taste are getting on my nerves- the vanilla cake, the white linens, the invitations, and even beyond that the style of their apartment. Everything is clean lines whereas Sam is increasingly going back to her roots like her family

The more I read the more I really hope Wyatt and Sam don’t end up together but I think that’s where it’s headed. I really dislike that Sam is planning on getting married but very clearly is not completely over Sam and what happened. It’s the stringing along of Jack I hate the most. It seems so selfish

If Sam ends up with Wyatt I’m going to be angry. I don’t like these types of books where it’s has the dual timeline and the guy and girl were together a long time ago but not anymore. If they do get together, it feels like she just wasted Jacks time. They’re about to get married!

I almost feel like I shouldn’t be reading this, like it’s too intimate reading Wyatt and Sam’s strong feelings for each other. They are like first crush feelings and the teenage hormones are running strong. Sam wanting to touch Wyatt’s stomach, Wyatt looking at Sam’s slight see through t shirt.

Sam is giving “pick me” vibes, calling herself a weirdo and she’s not like other girls. I’m a little annoyed with her but at the same time she’s just a teenager, going through puberty and figuring herself out. I just don’t have the patience

I’m enjoying the descriptions of the beach. It’s so detailed that I feel like I’m almost right there feeling the sand and the water. Very atmospheric and perfect for summer

Multiple details that make you feel like Verity is much more cognizant, aware and able to do things. Is she walking? Did she turn off the tv? Did she hide the knife and talk to Crew? Gives very eerie vibes

It almost seems too easy to guess and to assume that Verity is crazy and has very outlandish and extreme thoughts and feelings about her relationship with Jeremy. Like the author wants you to think maybe Verity had a role in what happened to the girls. What if she’s faking being ill?

Kinda giving me never lie and the only one left vibes. Girl is starting a new job she has to move to a new house and there’s something who is sick/ill at the new house. Also the couple seem like maybe there’s more that meets the eye and maybe they’re having some issues?

Why is Ione not far away? And why do I feel her and Elm might get together?

The bromance situation between Storm and Beau is so good, has me cackling and remember I think these moments happened in the second book too. Storm calling Beau sugar is so cute

I’m so invested in this book and in Carrie’s success. The way the author can evoke such strong emotions and palpable excitement is so cool. I feel like I’m waiting with bated breath so see if Carrie can do this and I so desperately want this for her. The book is fiction but it feels so real.

This time around she has more people supporting her. Gwen, her dad being her coach, and Bowe. She does seem more gracious and taking everything in and appreciating all of her improvements and achievements

I love how it feels like I’m right in the midst of the story happening as if it were real. You get such good character and plot development. At this point I’m rooting for Carrie and really want her to win most importantly for herself but also to the world. And you can see the special bond between her dad and her. Very sweet. I like Carries character a lot. Ruthless and so talented and not sorry

Not surprised this book feels so realistic or like a movie, since she’s done that with Evelyn Hugo and daisy jones as well. She’s such a talented storyteller! Such different storylines but all so compelling. Carrie’s no nonsense attitude is refreshingly different.

Please please please don’t be Lucy who for some strange reason have killed Savannah. I doubt it but if she did, it would break my heart and be so strange after them being best friends. I don’t think it was her.

Also this is really reminding me of agggtm. The police not being helpful in the case and the podcast actually being the one to figure it out. Complicated background of the victim and all characters

I feel like it’s giving grown up version of a good girls guide to murder. Also similarities to mad Mabel. As the story unfolds, you see how people made quick judgements and how a lot of people look at least a little suspicious after not being completely truthful about their alibis. Lots of people have secrets they may not want revealed but it changes the narrative. Also a lot of these neighbors are not great

Really enjoying the book so far and the incorporation of the podcast. The little music outro and intro for the podcast is a cool feature and the switch between regular story and podcast episodes are seamless
