Um, hello 😳

Listening to this via audiobook, which is always a risky venture for me - unless I’m driving (in which case I always “hear” everything but sometimes have to listen twice without seeing the words), my mind often wanders. So there are some sections of this I didn’t “hear well” - but what I’ve heard so far is touching, heartfelt, and in two cases has moved me to tears.

Reading for #TheLiturgistsBookClub . Drawing fr “Road Less Traveled,” hooks defines love as “will to extend one’s self for purpose of nurturing one’s own or another’s spiritual growth.” “When we feel drawn to someone, we cathect w them; that is, we invest feelings or emotion in them...most of us confuse cathecting w loving.” “Love” & “stoked” are best thought of as verbs. Looking forward to stretching my thinking.
