Didn't like the first story. Boring and I can't connect to the protagonist. Hope it gets better.

Lilian's life is just so sad

on the verge of DNF...I am hoping the story will pickup and turnaround instead of continuing to glamorize adultery and being such a feminist book as it kept talking about how a woman body should be, the slim figure, the breast....where is the story?!?!?

I dislike Caroline. Home wrecker yet we have to read from her POV. Why is the author justifying her adultery?

Re-reading Part One feels different now.
Scarlet definitely made some wrong choices and the naive her choose to give up her life over a boy.

Looking forward to Part Two of her life in Atlanta.

7 chapters and we are still at the same scene with same person explain to different people about the murder and explaining her same feeling of discovering the murder??? can we speed this up??

the book makes me want to try living a day without some things to see how it impacts my life and day....

what will I be willing to give up in life to exchange for one more day in life....

Chapter 2 is awesome! So bittersweet and everything happening in the cafe makes such a significant impact on them.
