University of Michigan study which found that husbands create an extra seven hours of housework a week for women. If I understand it correctly, Dr March Schoen mention emotions especially in the form of flight or fight responses from the limbic system are problematic in the modern-days (assuming you are not living a life where the roof would fall anytime🙏). "Next century survival may depend on a whole other paradigm: being able to weather the storm of discomfort in healthy ways". Kinda reminds me the body remembers

I remember a good friend of mine recommended this book while she was completing her master in clinical psychology. I asked what is the book about, why did she recommend it? she did not answer.

I stayed curious for a long time. Finally got my hands on one. Looking forward to discovering what lies next and why the hell she recommend this book to me.

I was so looking forward to reading this but did not due to time constrain..it was recommended somewhere that I had forgotten.... Maybe it was another book or a video on Youtube. My excitement level was over the roof when I finally get a copy. However, just into a few chapters, my excitement dwindles...I realized the book was more on experience. A bit disappointed ..but I am going to finish it anyway...
