A very provocative work. This is not for the faint hearted. I would say that it presents an overwhelming case for Altruism and demands thoughtful consideration. Not only have I been inspired by Ricard's vision of a world filled with altruistic values, but I am also deeply moved by this vision. There is a personal resonance that one cannot help but feel in the gut that somehow this value is deeply true.

I'm enjoying what I'm reading. I hear so much fear around me. Facebook friends, neighbors. Even my governor is hesitant to stand firm against fear of Syrian Refugees. Much needed.

Right down my alley.

Strong and penetrating. This book is very rewarding to me. It's a long book but well-worth reading.
