Have to take a pause on this book.

Lately I’ve been laying horizontally too much, and letting life for all its beauty pass me by. I want to read more, just not in my room. I have two years of PC service. Surely, I can read some noteworthy books in the meantime.

Started as a recommendation by a friend

“He’s acting as if it’s a normal Monday, but it is not a normal Monday.”

Nope.

I’m gonna attempt to read more, but if it keeps going on like this:

“She would have laughed.
But not anymore.
Not now she’s forty-five.
Not now.
Now she’s simply disgusted.”

I won’t be able to finish. I don’t like telling over showing.

Robin and Remy met. Now I can finally relax. Relaxed so much that I cried a tear for Robin’s loneliness. The fact that life happened so quickly and forcefully for him that he never got to process it.

“Listen to me before my thumb finds the bad place at your throat.” This book is hilarious.

I forgot why I started this book

I will spend the rest of my life cherishing this book, for there’s nothing more special than reading a book that invokes your daily life. I read half of this book in September, when I still lived in the US. One month living in Hà Nội, I have picked it back up again. I feel like I am reading with a new set of eyes: the language, the setting, even the name of the characters. Thank you to the author.

I am thoroughly enjoying this book. It makes me excited to read, which is a feeling I haven’t had in awhile.

I’ll get there.
