Still so damn boring. And the two main characters are supposed to fall in love? There's nothing flirty about them until about now and even that is mild.

So far this feels a bit long winded, and the trope characters are trope-ing. Can't tell if it's enemies to lovers or friends to lovers, but it'll probably be some sort of love triangle. Still waiting for dragons

Damn I really love Christopher Golden. Everything he writes is, well, golden! I'm always amazed by the unique settings, unexpected villains, and how quickly he can build tension when something scary happens. He is my favorite!

This is my very favorite author so I'm really excited to read another in his horror collections.

So far so amazing! The flow is so fast to set up the story so the real drama can start. I love to imagine what the vessel looks like, I bet it's cool.

Spooky cabin on an island in Lake Superior? Heck yes! I can perfectly picture this setting, being from MI🌲Also, it is insanely spooky already. It's face paced and the characters are written sooo well!
