My goal for this year is to read and appreciate more poetry. Think Mary Oliver, Robert Frost, words worth. I am also trying to clean up my to read list because my tastes have changed a lot in the last 10 years.

Anybody else royally pissed that "most read authors" on our books pages is gone? Or is that just my OCD? I found so many great authors by looking at my friends' most reads!

Aldous Huxley predicted it would take six centuries to reach the dystopia in this book. We're almost there. Terrifying, and fascinating.

Is it just me, or does anybody else HATE book blurbs that start out with three authors praising the book? Don't tell me how the book is going to make me feel. Just tell me what the damn book is about! I'm getting to be a picky reader in my old age. LOL.

Imagine being 70 years old, . . and still being able to CREEP PEOPLE THE HELL OUT!

I wasn't planning on reading this, because the last King book let me down, plus the premis of this one sounded like violence I never want to read. But DAMN has SK still got it! Something just happened that took me completely by surprise, and as much as I read, that's not easy to do. Violence is there, but once it's described, the book focuses more on the aftermath, not a flood of carnage.

The more I read, the more respect I gain for this pioneer of science fiction!

Reading "Lion of Kumar" The more I read, the more Clarke amazes me!

Termites kick our ass. Arthur C. Clarke is quickly becoming one of my very favorite authors. Heheheheh.

I love this guy's sense of humor! Travel by Wire, and How We Got to Mars are what I've read so far, and both made me laugh.

Why on Earth does utopian fiction have such low ratings on Goodreads? Really curious to read the genre now.

What is this genre called? RPG fiction? Whatever it is, I am fascinated by it!

I have finally come out of my reading slump! It lasted about three years. So glad to be interested in books again!

I am loving this book so far! It's making me laugh, the characters are unique, and so many fun moments that all Outlander fans will get completely.
