Aldous Huxley’s first mescaline experience is influenced by an array of artists, writers, philosophers, and other visionaries from an altered aberrant perspective. Inside out & outside in.
I’m hoping to find a touch of whimsical wonderland, exploring a resplendent fanciful playground!

I was hoping the authors would leave this section highly suggestive. However, Asylum section chapter 7 opens with shock-value graphic details to set the tone for effect – the vehement atrocities, horrors, Kris [The Alecto fury type] is compelled to irradiate within her means.

I skipped the 1st half and continued. Still find it an intriguing story overall.

Asylum - So far, so good. A worthy compliment to the two previous books in the Loralynn Kennakris series.

Z-Day minus 7 (Kindle Location 2093).

This SF sequel has my attention and I definitely want to find out what's next, as soon as I can find some free time.

Sequel to “The Alecto Initiative”. I’ve finished part 1 of 3.

So far, I’m impressed by the concise, while precise detailed descriptions [no wasted words]. This series provides a vast interesting and intelligent SF world with richly developed characters, well-conceived interwoven event building, and subsequent visible convincing action scenes.

I was concerned with the initial slave trade element - quite brutally graphic - which finds a balanced remedy as the story unfolds and sets the stage with atrocities which need to be dealt with.

About abandoned Dalmatian puppy Daisy: “I suppose each additional day of having a regular home inferred that the same situation would be more likely to recur the next. She had not taken a math course and was therefore not subjected to the vagaries of randomness, though she seemed to have an instinct for probability.”

Intriguing. I looked up maps on Nootka Sound - beautiful terrain. Are the whites trapped?
About the same time Lewis & Clark reached the Pacific via the Columbian River.
