The level of privilege and access in this book is insane. How are these people real?

Every time I think I know where this book is going, it zags. Incredible.

I like this quite a bit but Stella's internal insistence that this thing between her and Luka is only going to last a week when Luka's feelings for her are SO OBVIOUS, feels a little ridiculous at this point.

Some writers are really good at developing sexual tension. B. K. Borison is one of those.

Okay, this is funny.

I started reading this as a pick me up but the protagonist is so sad and defeated that so far, it's kind of just a bummer. And it doesn't seem to be one of those romances where you jump between the two central POVs.

Pausing this here as I'm selling this book. Not sure I want to finish this.

Currently rereading for book club and I maybe don't hate it as much as I remembered?

Have to return it to the library now. But ddefinitely want to come back to this!

Goodness. Every other chapter of this book is a sex scene now.

Took me awhile to get into but now it's getting good!
