bruh, just write a book about this woman's journey instead of having a really cool concept for a story line that somehow only takes up 5% of this book while the rest is flashbacks. I'm entertained, just feel like I've been bamboozled

very engaging premise and well written for the points it's trying to get across, I think this style is just not my personal taste. 4/5 objectively so far, 3/5 for my actual enjoyment of the book

if this wasn't a piece of classic literature, this book would be torn apart
