I'm going to give this another try. I have heard about it for years, tried reading it a few years ago, but the print was too small. I have now seen the first three seasons of it on Starz, and updated my glasses.
Love the TV show, by the way

Beginning the journey again for the first time in 20 years or more. Love every step!

I tried "The Martian" and could not read it for the life of me. Way too technical for me. I really hope I like this one!

Except for the magickal people appearing, it is so much like "The Stand" I have to remind myself that I'm not reading it.

OMG!!!!!! Can't wait to actually start this!!!!

Too much happening in my life, haven't had much time to finish this great book.
Still loving every word!

This is the first time I have even looked at one of Hemingway's books. I don't understand why it was not required in school. I really don't think I would have enjoyed it when I was younger. His writing style is unique and different than what I normally read. But I must say, I am completely hooked. I can't even figure out why.

So hard to put down.....

I put this aside for a while, reading others. I picked it back up today, and barely put it back down.

Ok, this book is good, but it is irritating the crap out of me! I started by hating Josie from the beginning, and I still do. She is flaky as hell. But Meredith is a piece of work! She keeps talking about how self centered Josie is, when Josie is talking about having a child it is self absorbed to Meredith. What the hell? Sorry I had to rant about this one...

I just started this book, and already I HATE one of the main characters! Wow what a messed up woman!

I had to make myself put it down this morning to do errands and then chores. Big sigh.....And now I am neglecting every thing else to enjoy it some more!!!

Wow! Catches you in the first couple of pages.....

Pretty good so far..

This story just sucked me in....

A ten hour drive across 4 states yesterday and I was only able to read across part of it. Bad roads make for headache when reading....

Took a few days off. Missed these people though.

Ok, so I updated my status less than 15 minutes ago. Went inside to grab a drink then back to my book(perfect spring day in Arkansas after the tornadoes and flooding of the past week). So anyway I am innocently turning pages when BAM! Out of nowhere comes a turn I was not expecting! What the hell?
