Eris is such an intriguing character.

I miss the easy friendship that Lucien & Feyre had been working toward before Tamlin became a POS. I know Lucien feels like he owes Tamlin a lot, and now this crap with Elain being his Mate (insert eye roll), but I really wish he would stand up for himself and others when he knows just how wrong Tamlin is. Like his only reason for going with Feyre right now is Elain, not because he thinks she's right about Tamlin.

I've been really enjoying this reread so far to prepare for #6. Let's see how this one holds up!

I absolutely adore the Night Court. The way they interact with each other is everything

The difference in writing from the first book to this is crazy. The characters are much more fleshed out and the world more alive. The deep dive into Feyre's guilt and depression is done so beautifully. This is really the best of the series so far

Oh man, do I now need to go back and adjust all my star ratings for those reviews where I was like, "well this was more like 3.5 but I rounded up..."? LOL. Happy for the half & quarter stars finally being here but we shall see if I go back and update

I've read this book multiple times at this point, yet I'm still sitting here at my work desk with tears threatening to spill from my eyes. Damn, I love this series

Anyone else not like the new edit review page? Why do they keep making these useless changes? How do I add tags to my book when I'm reviewing it now? It's just gone from the screen. I swear, this site seems like it's actively trying to get rid of its users

This one is definitely more political then the other books. And esp after the cliffhanger that was the previous book, I can see why there are people who don't like it as much. But it does add a lot to the world & story

The chemistry between Sartaq and Nesryn was there so early on. I love the scenes with them and getting her away from Chaol because while I love my brooding boy, they were just not it together.

You can just feel Yrene's hatred of Adarlan when she's first introduced. Well, mainly the King and Dorian

Oh Aelin, why can't you just trust the people with you? All this scheming and going behind your own allies backs is what gets you into these messes.

Ugh, Chaol and Aelin kill me. Both are so freaking stubborn and refuse to just listen to each other
