The book is a good read - the dialog is imagined, the situations were real. The story of Dr Mary Atwater - is filled with courage, and there can be nodoubt she cleared a path of self determination for all women to come. She was not perfect - and could be a difficult mother as evidenced by a stressed relationship with her only child, but she lived life to the fullest and should be admired. Well worth the read.
