One of the most depressing books ever. Maybe I haven't gotten to the point of understanding what message she was trying to convey. I will keep pushing through it. This book is as dystopian as it gets.

There are certain points of reading a book where you feel like you either become smarter than you were before you read the book or confirmation that you don't really understand something that you previously thought you did. I'm in shock at how much information is laid out in such a thorough way. This book is required reading. I am learning so much and it requires so much attention and focus but it's worth it.

My sweet Lord this book4 is heavy lifting. This requires unwavering focus and a magnifying glass with classical music in the background. A great book so far.

For the life of me, can this woman stop bringing up the 💩 example of her addiction to twilight novels? It really takes points away from an otherwise great book. She annoyingly keeps bringing it up as if it's an argument that is equal to pornography or food addiction. It's so corny.

I am really surprised by this book because it is changing my perspective on a lot of things. It is catching me off guard because I didn't expect so much from a book that I just grabbed by discount and started to read. Like I had no idea who this guy was and what type of stuff he was behind. But it's very interesting. I find myself actually absorbing a lot of the information that is in this book.

I gotta be honest. I have mixed feelings about this book. It's giving self help vibes mixed with a lot of self ego stroking. He omits his rift with Janet Hubert on Fresh Prince, and cherry picks certain relationships he wanted to talk about. Something feels dishonest behind all of the great narration.

Quite possibly the best sports biography I've read, because this was the era I became a Laker fan.

"But by March 1963, he was a celebrity and, by his calculation, rich. If for any reason he could not eat somewhere, he could always return to the hotel where he was staying and order anything he wanted from room service, or he could ask his private chef tomake him a meal at his home in Miami. Wealth helped him escape discrimination, a luxurymost blacks could not afford."...

This is deliberately false in my opinion.

Phenomenal read so far. 50 Cent is far more intelligent than one would assume. He has the characteristics of a Billionaire. He's gained a lot of points in my book after reading this book.

Holy crap! I might have came across the best book of 2019. Really compelling book. He hasn't gotten into the meat and bones yet, but the book is a game changer as far as information and propaganda.
