I’m pretty sure I hate every single one of these characters and can’t figure out why this book has such a high rating

This audiobook narrator is hilarious. He likes to do Christopher walken impersonations.

I’m going to DNF this book. It was painfully stupid. I really, truly do not understand why this has such good ratings.

I’m on chapter 9 which is taking me forever to get to. Not seeing why this is getting such rave reviews.

Giving up half way. It was feeling like a chore to read this book. Just didn’t connect with any of the characters and found it boring. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book was a mistake. If you are the type that doesn’t like it when the animal dies in a movie, stay away from this book. Lots of animal death.

The narrator for this audiobook is horrendous. Also why is he British when the characters are American living in America???

There is an error in this book. It states that an alligator stop speed on land is 10mph. It’s actually 35mph. Just thought I’d point that out.

I’m gonna dnf this book. More than halfway through the book and I’ve found I don’t really care about any of the characters at all.

The beginning of this book gives out a trigger warning for sexual abuse. I am giving out another one of death of a pet.

I don’t know why people are saying this is fast paced. It’s pretty damn slow. Every part that is inside the killers head is a waste. The only point to that is the creep factor. Doesn’t actually add anything to the story. Just drags it down.

I really need a family tree for every single person in this series. We are meeting so many people 64 years before HG happens that I need to know how everything lines up

There is one major oversight in this book. Breast milk. How the hell does Charly not realize something is off when her boobs should still be leaking

Ugh. This book is doing that thing that romance books do. The main character just thinks a lot about how much they are attracted to the other and all the reasons they shouldn’t be. You only need to do that once, not every couple of pages.

I’m annoyed. I love White. Have since Paranormalcy came out. So I just kind of automatically buy her books. I didn’t realize that you had to have watched Buffy in order to understand this book. Seeing as how I dislike the show Buffy, this book makes zero sense to me.

Third time reading this book, will always be team Dorian. I really don’t understand why everyone seems to be team Chaol.

I decided to listen to this audiobook since I had it on my phone but I’m not feeling it. The characters are really stupid for cops. I really dislike Elise.

I don’t think I’m enjoying this as much as the people in the reviews did. Yeah it’s okay but I find myself waiting for more to happen and when it does it feels very “eh.” Bit anxious for the book to hurry up and end so I can move on to the next

The fact that this audiobook is narrated by Lord Voldemort (Christian Coulson aka Diary Voldy) just makes this book even better.

This is perhaps the best audiobook I’ve ever listened to. It has a full cast and lots of special effects sounds. Truly well done. The story itself is also incredibly good.

This is the first Taylor book I’m actually really enjoying.
