I love this. It’s taken me a while to settle in, but I’ve found the magic now and I’m hooked. It’s cool to recognise New Zealand (not Aotearoa yet), and my experience/ memory of pre-teen life in 1985.

I have been struggling to stay focussed today. Every now and then however a delightful turn of phrase raises a bit of a giggle: “Of couse, the men dd most of the talking. But that was only because the women did most of the deciding and God needed a way for men to contribute.”
