Hate when I don't even have time to read. Been slow going with this one. Not the books fault at all.

So many great quotes in this book. McCurdy can write. This is what she was meant for.

This one is in danger of being a DNF.

The narrative is rather manic.

The love interest part feels like an unnecessary distraction.

The repetitive structure of the story is getting old:
Battle small things. Battle a big thing. Go on TV. Get prizes. Go to next level. Repeat.

After the initial world building, its been basically just that.
