When I read; "bold, eccentric, rule-breaking Cassandra Joyce" in the blurb I was expecting something extremely different than what is happening. Cassandra is rude, uptight, bossy, self centered, hypocritical , and completely unaware of her affect on those around her but highly aware on their (often negative) affect on her. The approach to Noah's wife who passed away & "rituals" just scorched my nerves for some reason

Half way through this book and have zero idea what the hell it has to do with either "Wonderland" or zombies. Nada. Zilch. Add to that, it is SO SLOW....
Second book in a row that is extremely misleading for my brain.
