I feel like I should like it more. The story is interesting, the characters are engaging, but it's just not compelling me right now. I'm disappointed in myself that I'm disappointed in the book.

Fascinating to read the road to success. The art is gorgeous.

Phone 110 of 370 - I am riveted, but I wish there were maybe 2 chapters in a row on each story instead of alternating. My memory isn't what it once was, I'm constantly flipping back & forth to recall details.

Too much like "Scooby-Doo" with the off "I say, old chap!" thrown in for effect. I just didn't get drawn into it.

I’m finding the writing very clumsy. Switching from third-person to first-person narration with no segue, presenting all the players briefly in chapter one only to proceed to go into each of them in their own chapters, making the initial presentation superfluous...

I didn’t think I was a picky reader, but if the writing doesn’t get tighter, this will be my last MHC book.

I'm working my way through my 2017 book challenge. 20 books, & in getting them all but 1 from the library. Trees

So far I've read : "I am Malala," "The Best Awful" by Carrie Fisher, & Bruce Springsteen stupendous autobiography "Born To Run." I'm behind!

Had to shelve it - fascinating & well-written but life currently isn't giving me time to finish a 746-page book.
