Bit of a slow burn in audiobook format but lawh if they didn't just pass Peaks of Otter and do I ever love the Blue Ridge popping into my ears while walking around Tokyo.

Clearly this was an excellent post-vaccination choice, so much laughter. Go audiobook on this, love the sitcom style clips!

Not incredibly keen on this audiobook so far but it is working its easy magic of making me long for roaring fireplaces, vin chaud, and raclette instead of hot, humid, rainy Tokyo.

Ahh 11th in a series? That explains the massive catch up angst dump happening right now. I was wondering why I needed to know all the ends and outs of this guy's tragic family history. Not my kind of book so far but pandemic so I'm trying.

That feeling when you've waited ages for a library hold and are now thoroughly enjoying it only to fumble your phone and accidentally return it early and find it won't be available again for another 22 weeks (T-T)

OH dear. Just picked this up at the library in Tokyo only to find out it's now a series of 10 books :O

The excerpt on EW is fairly squee-worthy and it made me crave snacks. I'm there for any romance that even slightly involves a convenience store.

I wish I had time to read through the Italian text as well. The parallel pages make it much easier to decipher.

enjoying these but I'm already late returning it to the library. hope to pick back up soon.

this book is infuriating. I may bail.

this is not the book for me to be reading right now. but it's due back tomorrow, and I still have a hard time giving up on things. but ick.

well, i'm in love with the first chapter!

I appreciate the plot of this book, but I'm having a hard time getting into the rhythm of the writing, I keep putting it down at the end of each chapter :/
