it's taking me so long to finish this but it's very old school fantasy in a way it's quite comforting not to binge it

this is exactly what I was looking for

I never really struggled with a book before (excluding the ones that I didn't like of course) but it's taking me so long to get through this mainly because it hits too close to home. I'll probably put it on hold, I see myself too much in the words of the protagonist it's kinda unsettling eh

it's so unbelievably heartbreaking reading the thoughts of another woman and realising that we've always been angry

trust Dazai to cling to life with the most absurdist resolve I love this author so much

I'm on my KNEES because what do you mean that Captain Wentworth drops the most gorgeous lines about devotion and I should just move on

reading this book feels like taking crack cocaine they don't make yearning like this anymore

I haven't even finished reading the chapter but I started tearing up because of Caleb and I wanted to document it. I love you Cal

just finished part one my god my heart is pounding I haven't felt like this while reading a book in a very long time this story is eating at my brain


also cathy terrifies me these sort of characters make me feel so unsettled it's uncanny

this book is going to change my life I can already feel it. I can count on the fingers of one hand the times I was so deeply touched by a story and this will be one of those

sometimes when I read I get the feeling that that book is going to alter my way of thinking and looking at the world (so far I can safely say that it happened twice with those that are now my favorite books of all times). I'm sure it will happen with this one as well. every page is so beautiful, I find myself not wanting to finish the page because of how thoughtfully written and crafted every sentence is wow
