This is a lot of sitting around, doing nothing. Ugh.... Slow burn is more like no burn.

Here's the first lines. Buckle up, babes...

Why was I shoving a dozen trash bags filled with hacked-up couch parts into the back of my SUV at midnight on a Saturday? Because I thought I was rescuing a piece of curbside gold. Instead, I adopted a loveseat that smelled like it spent the last decade chain-smoking in the back of a dive bar with no ventilation and a jukebox that only played sad country ballads.

I've heard such good things about this book, but ugh, I don't like it. I don't like Emily. I'm all for high fae and fairies, but I'm struggling to keep my attention on this book, which is weird. It just annoys me.

DNF. Those sex scenes were just too cheesy for me.

Ugh, this book!! If you’re gonna write about something like a life threatening allergy, how about you research it? There is a horrible misrepresentation of a life threatening allergy that causes anaphylaxis in this book.

This book is just filling me with dread, yeesh. 😬

Loving this one. So creepy and building with dread. This is setting up to be a good one from my favorite author.

It’s getting better. We have some time travel mentioning! But who the heck are all these family members. Way too many little side characters.

This main character is so unlikeable. I was hoping for some weird sci if because the premise is amazing but 70 pages in I just can’t stand her.

This is so good! My baby woke up to nurse so I started reading and couldn't stop. But, now after the polaroid in the book, I'm kinda creeped out and can't get back to sleep.

Jesus, i hope the ending is good because I’m sick of the constant political commentary in this one. I loved book 1 and 2 but this is getting old. Can we get back to sci-fi? Obviously this was being written in the middle of the election and Donald Trump era.

This is so stressful. It’s just feels like it’s building to some impending doom.

Ugh I can see the Twilight crap already happening. She literally tortures a man and he's falling in love with her.

So, she's had countless relationships fall apart over her sister Millie being important in her life. But, this guy says pick me or her, and she suddenly chooses him? What?

I am loving this book! Can't put it down! I've read this book inspired one of my favorites Stephen King's 11/22/63.

I'm thinking zombies.

This is a little terrifying imagining this could be what we are, just a simulation.

If you like The Martian with all the math and science, you might enjoy this one. I'm anxiously waiting when they get to "life" in their universe.

This story is scary because it's eerily familiar. This could have been written about my husband's ex wife. Seriously, she has shown up on our street a few times. This is turning into pretty much my worst fear about her.

And I'm finally hooked into the story! Something bad happened...

I cannot put this book down!
