So far, it's ok. A new world build and tbh, that is a bit hit or miss for me. But I have a very high bar for Honor's books and having just read the last Artifactor book, which wrapped all up nicely..I was left kinda hollow by it too. So trying to keep an open mind about it but it isn't an stay-up-all-night read for me.

Listening to on Audible. I love Sanderson's books and am savoring the SA. I even have a bridge 4 tshirt! Whooooot!

Ok. I'm calmer now. I really want this character to blow their asses into dust. Collar or no collar. Break that damn thing and make them pay. For Minna, for Raithe and for the superiority complex they exhibit. I feel sorry for the dimished creatures in the Ryiria books, but I do not have one shred of guilt over seeing these creatures get dusted.

No no no no no no I can't take it if this one doesn't survive. I nearly threw myself off a cliff when THAT thing happened last book, (dramaqueen much?..I know) but seriously..I named my new kitten after S and my new corgi pup after M...please please please don't let anything more horrible happen..S is my spirit guide! 😭😭😭

Savoring every word.

As with each new MJS book, I treat myself by going back and re-listening to each prior book on audible, narrated by the AHmazing Tim Gerald Reynolds. So I am a bit behind my fellow kickstarters and that's ok. I absolutely love the way this book is structured, which is different than the prior ones. I think I am in the start of "act 2", but don't really care about that either. It's a delight & I am savoring each word.

Once again...need to go back and read the previous 4! Guess what I will be doing in the next few months!

Had to go back and read the 1st 2 again before I start. Should be finished with my currents before Michael launches Age of Legends. Whooooo!

Chapters 1-5 are free for kindle. Book is preorder for May 7. I love this idea! Especially when e-books are from 7.99 to 14.99. I don't get so mad at a dude for 1.99 or even a meh at 3.99. But it really gets me when their set by a publisher at the price of a physical book.

I saw her on Shane Dawson's YT channel and OMG I have sooo much empathy for her and her family. I don't care if this book sucks as far as writing, I bought this to support her and hopefully help her in some small way deal with this. I hope she is in therapy and is safe from this abuser. He should be in prison.

2. Dani? I think it will be Ryodan as odd as that is.
3. Dani & Mac better GTF over their thing. Yea, it's huge but we know Mac understands. So why in the name of all things Unseelie, has she not talked to her yet? She can't leave the girl a note?

Ok. I read the first five Fever books. I liked them (obviously as I read all five) and I have to say the world building is amazing.

So, we continue with Dani's story. I have a few issues so far. But I'm hopeful.

1. She is 14. FOURTEEN. And. Brat. But three dudes are interested in her, like um..sexually? One is 17, one 22/23ish and the one I think she's gonna end up with is well, no spoiler..but he is OLD.

Ok. I'm on reading hiatus because THE MAGICIANS is returning for season 4 in January! My little dream bfwbs are back in all their awesome broken confusion. So I'm binge watching seasons 1-3 with friends (yea I do have irl friends..shut up), and then setting up a season premiere PARTAY!

So Six of Crows & those next on my tbr list are gonna wait until they can have some undivided attention. Le sigh. #Iwannadomagictoo

I am torn over this book. The 1st one was interesting enough for me to buy the 2nd. But dear lord of the hunt, please allow something..anything.. good to happen. I don't mind some tragedy but this isn't agnst, it's just living in dread of a page turn.
