In hindsight, it is easy to look at companies like Apple, Nvidia, and Amazon and call them overvalued while forgetting they did a lot of groundwork to get where they are today. There's a seductive lie that many smart people believe: "Build it, and they will come." But no business has ever succeeded this way. That's one reason many "smart" people make poor entrepreneurs.

Jensen uses the term "we" instead of "I" to signify that Nvidia is a team effort. This was also how Rockefeller spoke when he talked about Standard Oil or spoke with his business partners.

Huawei and Nvidia seem to follow the same hiring philosophy: hire people smarter than you, and if you become the company's bottleneck, be ready to step aside.
