I really don’t like books that jump from perspective or years every other chapter. I donut mind when books time hop but I prefer when it is at random and suites the story instead of every other chapter. I find my self hating the “past” chapters and counting down the pages till they are over and I can get back to the real story, “the present”.

I think this book would be good for someone chronically online. So far for me, it’s not hitting cause I don’t get any of the references. I am online, but not ‘bravo’ online.

Listen I think this book has its audience. It’s just not me.

Divorcées with children or newly empty nesters.

I am just not the clientele.

Did the author get into a bet with someone about how many times they could use the word “thrust” in a book? If so, maybe they should have written a book about Air Force pilots.

There is something about this book that feels like a less exciting “the idea of you”. The author even says the phrase at some point.
