Story 2 "What Happened at Midnight” by Courtney Milan. 3 starts

First story "One Starlit Night" by Carolyn Jewel 2stars. This is my first read from this author and unfortunately I didn’t like it at all.

This series should be called Highland Damsels in Distress

The Earl on The Train by Kerrigan Byrne: 3.5 although you have to read Duke with the Dragon Tattoo beforehand.

The Wolf of Westmore by Amalie Howard: Not really my cuppa. Felt like too much of a modern contemporary plopped into a historical setting.

Going back on my TBR until I can find the ebook. Can’t handle the audio right now.

Only 3 chapters in. My thoughts so far:

I think this is for someone who doesn’t know anything about money already. Like at all.

He shouldn’t not have narrated this himself. He’s really pompous sounding. He probably has a good idea or two so I’ll try to ignore it but I wish I would have done the Ebook not audio.

This one is a struggle to get through. I wonder if it’s easily skippable...

Ugh. All this going nowhere between this “couple” is killing me. 😵😒😴

I think maybe this series just isn’t for me. I haven’t gotten far but I just can not get excited to read more right now. I’ll try again some other time

I’m bracing myself after reading review. This might be too full of my peeves for me to finish but I’ll still give it a try if only to meet the next book’s characters.

I don’t know if I can handle the heroine. So sad because I love hero’s like this. Tall, dark plus dyslexic. If I do finish it’ll be because of him. Here’s to hoping there’s a plot twist where the heroine gets a total personality swap. Cus right now she’s TSTL
