I’m making progress. That’s about all I can say about this book so far without sounding like I hate it. I definitely don’t hate it, but it is a tough read right now.

I’m really enjoying the book so far. I didn’t know a lot about the book other than being a fan of the TikTok sketches that this is based on. this is the first of C.M. Alongi’s books that I have read. I don’t want to say too much since it’s still not regularly available, but it’s been a fun read so far.

So far, I’m really not sure why “everyone” thinks this book is amazing. I’m kind of bored. If it wasn’t for book club I don’t think I would keep reading.

It’s been fun to read old original appearances of some characters and see how much they have changed. From Clayface’s origins to Commissioner Gordon’s opinion of Batgirl. So many things have changed.

Listening to the state of the country in 1860 as Lincoln is being elected is so reminiscent of the political division we have today. Although Lincoln wasn’t also moving into the White House with a pandemic engulfing the world. All of the same political arguments seem to be being bantered around. Voting rights, civil rights, state’s rights. It’s sad 160 years later we are still debating these same concepts.

I’m just getting started with this book (I’m using it to get used to my new reading glasses) but the beginning is hilarious, and the art design in absolutely perfect.

So far this book is a ton of fun. I'm loving it. And that's why I read over half of it tonight.

Why is it that when Harry has a bad day, I have an awesome one? Really enjoying this and it doesn't even feel like I've gotten to any of the really good parts yet.

I don't care how sick I am, I just had to start reading this. (Just a cold, but it really messes with your head.)

I'm up to Chapter 19 and the book just keeps getting better.

While this book has some clever dialog and some really funny scenes so far, the premise is really starting to wear thin for me. I hope it turns around.

Starting Rainbow Six

I love this story so far. One man's mission to put Washington back together and all of the plots to make him fail. I don't remember how much I read of this book last time I was reading the Clancy books, but I am really enjoying this read through. Who needs sleep anyway?
