There is a page consisting 90% of footnotes, with footnotes inside footnotes explaining Spanish quotes in the footnotes. I'm sorry, but who the hell would write like this, and why? If this was an actual academic text you'd have to rewrite the whole thing, and this is supposed to be entertainment...

The Book of Judges as literature is way better than the earlier parts. Jael and Deborah were cool and I have to wonder why they aren't used more in derivative works. Of course they're no doubt going to disappear right away, but yeah this seems like one of the better parts of the Bible so far if you want to read it as a book.

The ordered mass murder of 3000 innocent friends and relatives as a 'punishment' of the golden calf incident is also something that doesn't get advertised much.
