i am enjoying this so so much omg. i'm so sad i'm flying through it

I now know the biggest problem I have with this book:
the characters' voices are too poorly written, and not distinct enough. particularly, the fairy godmother's. she sounds like a teen.

Currently, I'm about more than halfway through the book and it's been enjoyable so far. Although, we've got the usual fair share of idiotically and unreasonably "heroic" main character (a bit of a cardboard cutout of a main tbh) but the romance is kinda cute. could be sooo much cuter if writing was more sophisticated ahhhh

it's a fairly enjoyable book up to this point, very much attributed to the humour but engaging? not very much.

i'm reading it ends with us, and it AGAIN proves my theory that all books that involve florists OR weddings will always be good.

like seriously. i keep coming across books that prove my point.

why does Mare always say she cares about her loved ones and yet, isn't it natural that she should ask about them the first chance she gets? But she doesn't. my god.

that was good. wow. im actually surprised. Mare's rescue could've been more of a surprise if it wasn't hinted at but the rescue itself was written really well. the action was good.

honestly, all these locations and plotting and strategising is so incredibly confusing. idk whether it's written incredibly poorly or my brain is incredibly useless, but i cant get through 20 pages of this book without wanting to fall asleep.
