Currently, I'm about more than halfway through the book and it's been enjoyable so far. Although, we've got the usual fair share of idiotically and unreasonably "heroic" main character (a bit of a cardboard cutout of a main tbh) but the romance is kinda cute. could be sooo much cuter if writing was more sophisticated ahhhh

I now know the biggest problem I have with this book:
the characters' voices are too poorly written, and not distinct enough. particularly, the fairy godmother's. she sounds like a teen.
