Brontë is such a fantastic writer wow. I am appreciating the character development a lot more and am realizing how often Nelly lack sympathy for Heathcliff and Cathy. Like they’re just kids for the first quarter of this, and there’s so much violence and cruelty in their lives.

Re-reading since the new adaptation comes out in a few weeks and I’m really enjoying it! Much more digestible on the second go round now that I know all the characters

nearly there! this book is my favorite so far for sure, it’s so well written

It’s a joke to count this as a book bc it took me literally a 10 minutes to read it but brooo there’s so much focus on the blue dress 😭 frankly cannot wait to be done reading this series. one more to go..
