Brontë is such a fantastic writer wow. I am appreciating the character development a lot more and am realizing how often Nelly lack sympathy for Heathcliff and Cathy. Like they’re just kids for the first quarter of this, and there’s so much violence and cruelty in their lives.

idk why I had such a hard time keeping them clear in my head the first time… I knew this book would be better on a re read and I was so correct
