Honestly, Cate C Wells is probably the only author I'd read ANYTHING and everyrhing she produces. She writes exactly how I love to read. Her realness is just different and no two characters she ever wrote are the same and she is so economical in descriptions yet doesn't take away from the scene. Just a refreshingly near perfect balance between emotional, funny as fuck, dramatic, and relatable.

Lmfao omg this is rich 😭 I am seriously not sure if the author means to make this a cringe fest of literal contradicting hypocritical people but there is absolutely no redeemable character in these books, none 😭.

I am trying to clean my bookshelf. I've had this book among probably 15 others pending completion. I would read up to 12%, 17%, 21%, sometimes even 30%, then abandon and flag it as "to be finshed later because I am just not feeling it right now".

There is a mention if a type of insect nearly every few pages......

Also not fond of books where the characters diet consist of alcohol only. 😒🙄

Re-reading this gem. I keep going back to it because its one of the best books I've read in the romance genre. I adore the MCs and the story. Even the dialogs are good. I strongly recommend this book to everyone.

The heroine is so damn annoying, a good digger to the nth degree and inconsistent. I'm now at the stage of forcing myself to finish the book.

These books have the most boring smut scenes I've ever read. Repetitive soo damn Repetitive

The heroine is getting on my nerves. Literally every 3 pages she's having a meltdown and asking for reassurance. It's too much and it feels a lot like redundancy to fill the pages quota.

Ah.. anyone else find trouble reading these books? The intensity and angst is too acute my anxiety spikes and I find myself feeling down and depressed..

Hello friends, I dislike multiple partners at the same time books (reverse harem) and I had a book recommendation I found intriguing.. just wanted an opinion in case any of you read it to spare me the wasted time. The book is Flock by Kate Stewart.

Is it like a fucking mandatory thing in contemporary romance that the heroine is absolutely infuriating, delusional, weak, pathetic and emotionally manipulative! I am tired of this shit.. she meets a guy for like three hours and he is "her best friend" and another in 3 minutes and he is "her everything" fuck outta here with this shit

I am seriously considering DNFing the book. There is just no basis for the love story and the writing is too redundant over things that are insubstantial. I am getting seriously bored reading.

I need a rec for a funny as hell book. Basically romantic comedy please.

Hey ladies.. can anyone help me? I am trying to remember the name of a book I read.. it is an erotic suspense/romance the plot is about a girl being kept captive in a mansion (high class brothel really) the hero is trying hard to score a deal with a gangster and he is accomodating his lacky who abuses the captive girl. The hero has a friend who grooms his "girls". The ending was cliffhanger.

I feel like I actually need moral support to keep reading this book!

Oh my God this series has the most disgustingly weak heroine I've ever read and one of the worst assholes. I don't think I am going to keep reading any more books from this series. I can barely stand finishing this one.
