Wish that Kaleb and Sahara’s meeting with Sasha and Lucas was included, I enjoy those inner workings the most but sometimes these books are so solely focused on the couple it ignores other important character development and storytelling.

Ok I came back to this to try again and I’m finally getting a tad interested and liking these people a little!

I’m really struggling to get into this one…

Not gonna lie, not even related to the main plot of this book but a kinda throwaway convo between Charles and Anna has me shook <spoiler>Bran is in love with Mercy?!? Were we supposed to have picked up on that?</spoiler>

So so SO good! Really changes you’re whole perspective and puts a different spin on America’s racist history and present. I didn’t know much about India’s caste system and the parallels are fascinating. My library loan is gonna expire so will hafta re-borrow.

Part 2: Yay Stiles’s POV!!!

Part 1: cute and sweet and sad Derek but Hot Sex.

GodDAMN this is SLOW/long. I don’t love the format with the interview and flashbacks. JUST TELL ME THE STORY.

I'm kinda skimming... very slow

First time someone referred to our MC as "she"... and I just realized this isn't a gay alien romance :'(

Chapter 17: WHY do I keep doing this to myself?!? 😭😰🥰

Chapter 16: Always tough to read WIP but I can't tell if a lack of flow is from it being broken up. I was all excited for the Sterek, but it feels like it's been so long since I've seen Derek their connection seems sudden (but I guess it's been like 2 days for them and he had been hanging out a ton with Stiles/Stella) so I think it's just cuz it's a WIP

Chapter 14: Eek the drama!!! 😱

Chapter 11: Good plot progression, curious to see where it goes.

Chapter 9: PLOT PROGRESSION!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Can’t wait for more, but this is a good one.

Chapter 8: FINALLY!!!!!! Damn tho, I need chapter 9 ASAP!

This is kinda a filler chapter. Not bad but not much happens. Hope chapter 8 is close behind!

I knew as soon as Stella mentioned the hospital reading program that she would be paired with Peter, but I’m excited to see how it plays out. I’assuming he’ll love her and it will bridge the gap between everyone. The tears got me though! 😭

I had read chapter 1 and liked it, then decided I would wait for it to be complete. But dammit I just can’t ignore update emails from DW! I read 2-5 and like the way Stella changes their early dynamic. It softens Derek and calms Stiles’s manic energy a bit. It’s a nice variation while still being true to character. And I like Stella herself as well.

Chapter 23: Swoooooon!!! This felt a little short, didn’t really need the flashback, but still. SWOON!

Chapter 20: GAHHHHH I KNEW IT!!!! Although she did sneak it in at the end of a pretty nondescript chapter, sneaky DW. She did also say updates may slow down staring tomorrow, so I feel like it’s time to wait until it’s done... but who am I kidding?!

Chapter 9: It's getting harder to read this one chapter at a time, we're past the initial drama which is nice, but the sweet slower chapters aren't as satisfying one offs. This was sweet tho, for realz.

Chapter 16: SO GOOOOOOD!!!!! Pretty much every thing I’ve been waiting for. Now we can move on to the fun stuff!

Chapter 15: Swoooon. Hungover and couldn’t sleep at 1:30 am so I can confirm that DW has an auto update or something at midnight or 1. PLEASE feel free to do more than one chapter today! 😭
