I know I only have about half an hour of reading left, but this feels soooooooo looooooong... Maybe that's why it's taken me this long to get around to reading book 2?

It's obvious now that I'm going to need to re-read these periodically as more books come out, just to see all the foreshadowing I didn't get the first time. Or, I'm guessing, the second time.

Gotta take another break for a day -- utterly devastating! (But so damn good!)

It's amazing and heart-rending and horrific and beautiful and terrifying. I've got to take a little break and read something happy...and then I'll be back to it later today when the sun is up and I'm not at risk of crying myself sick.

Wait, this is GABE! I was wondering about him when I was reading Not Dating Material -- now I'm even MORE excited to see these guys fall in love!

And now I'm crying....

Oh yes. Chapter 9 is every bit as good as Cult of Personality was. Happy sigh. I might need to go smoke a cigarette now...

Niall is a fucking asshole and he needs to get his own damn life. Although I had sorta figured out that second part in the first chapter.

I'm only at 14%, and this is the third time I've called Ryan an asshole. He's going to have to change a LOT in this story for me to want to read his book at all... On the other hand, I'm utterly fascinated by Tyler -- all the crap he's survived! He deserves an HEA sooooo much!

Prologue's already sucked me in, such good writing!

Only starting chapter 3 and I've already been laughing uncontrollably. Promising, very promising.

The opening scene has completely sucked me into the story -- holy CRAP!

You guys!! This is set in the town just south of where I grew up! Say Yes to Michigan! (Yeah, that was the state slogan in the 80s and 90s. Yup...)

I can't go to bed even though it's late because I'm laughing too hard and would wake up my own dear non-Victor...

Chapter 21 -- I'm getting a little anxious just reading this bit, remembering the morning of my surgery to put my heel back together. Pretty accurate...

Well crap, this just got more interesting. Not that it wasn't already riveting, but now? Yeah, I don't think I'll be stopping reading from here to the end!

Starring with Joshus's POV of the conversation with Corey about what kind of sub Corey is? Perfection!

It seems like most authors would end here. I'm not sure where it's going for the next 58 minutes or so. Probably more hot sex, but who knows...

Dammit, this isn't mm romance. All those neutral names...now I need to go hunting for a book with the word "taste" in the title again. Shoot!

Oh hell. I didn't even see it coming. Really should've seen, at least for the previous five pages... Now I doubt I'll be sleeping any time soon.

Only at the end of Chapter 2, and it seems I'd forgotten how freaking HAWT Shaw's writing can be...

It's not bad, it's just so predictable. Why can't Alex tell Danny how awful his ex is, she'll take Dexter if he dates a guy, he doesn't have a custody arrangement, & they're living paycheck to paycheck? I get that the last one is hard -- I'm familiar with it. As much as I like some parts of the story, I'm not sure I can go on for another 2+ hours of this internal angst and unrequited longing...

I have to take a moment here. Connor? No matter how uptight and repressed he is, he HAS been a rock solid presence in Gray's life. I can't imagine how he's feeling right now, underneath his facade. I hope he gets his own HEA...

Another abrupt POV change, but I can see the extra line between paragraphs a little better this time, so I went back and found the hard return break at 23% -- a little too subtle a hand with the formatting compared to the story in general, people! (So it's there, but still annoying!)

Annoying unannounced POV change in the middle of chapter 5 doesn't seem very promising...
