I've been reading this book with my nine year old son at bedtime and we're both loving it! It takes a lot of self control not to keep reading after my son falls asleep...

I haven't read such a wonderfully magical, whimsical, adventurous, thrilling, tale in a long time. This reminds me of some of the classics I read as a kid by authors like Philipp Pullman, Susan Cooper, Brian Jacques, and Robyn McKinley! Love it.

I've heard so much about this book from my Discord / Reddit groups and decided to finally give it a read. It's not very well known, but I'm already on chapter 9 and I can see why so many recommend it! So far I'm fully absorbed and looking forward to seeing how this all plays out!
