Can hardly put it down.

Not quite ready to finish this story.

The excitement of a tourney! I've never gotten my head around why anyone would want to joust, but the sword fighting is rather entertaining. I enjoyed Hayley's first tournament foray, it was like I was there amidst the dust and noise and smells. Must read on to see how she fares.
On a side note, isn't Gavin just dreamy???

Just discovered this book is much much longer than I realised! I was already thinking it was kind of long for YA at 566pp according to GR, in reality it is 1384pp. Good thing I'm really enjoying it, and I really like Hayley and Gavin.

The battle is finally here!

I've got a digital copy of this on my laptop, yet it seems every time I go to sit down and read it, my laptop is being used by a smaller version of myself... Apparently doing their homework is more important than my reading time, scandalous, isn't it!?

Initially I found the writing style a little off-putting, but pushing through I've found an interesting story!
Hayley, aka Hayseed, is a little pathetic; street urchin, thief, so thin a stiff breeze could knock her down, and yet she has been chosen to be a Knight's squire. She has a long way to go before she is up to scratch, but the journey so far has been rather engaging!

Absolutely wonderful! So much action, so many mysteries, and all so good! Difficult to put down.

Off to a cracking start!

Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favourite movies, but I'd never gotten around to reading the book, until now. So glad I'm reading it, just love it.

Man I would like to see Joffrey's head on a pike!

I injured my hip and needed something to engage me while I rested and this was hanging about on my shelf unread. I've not read nor seen any of this series before, but due to how much I've heard people talk about it, I was wary of being disappointed. However, I'm finding it quite absorbing. I rather like Ned.

I'm finding this a much slower read than the first two books in the series.

Still not liking this one as much as the first two in the series, but it's been long enough since I last read it, for me to forget what happens, so onwards!

Lost interest about two thirds through, and couldn't get back into it.

Getting to the end of this fun adventure... I'm going to miss hanging out with the gang, especially Tania and Fyrh.

Rather enjoying this adventure tale!

Bearhaven is pretty amazing. All the tech is so cool! It would be awesome to play with the stuff in the labs and the security features (of course, I wouldn't want my parents to be missing at the time, that would kind of reduce the potential for fun).
