I’m having a hard time getting into it, even though I desperately want to, the world and magic system is interesting but it’s just not clicking with my brain.

Still in my re-read phase as I wait for my audible credits replenish

Starting a re-read so I can replenish my Audible credits!

Mad because it’s almost over and then I have to wait for the next book to come out!

Listen the first book was rough but the second book is the payoff.

It took a MINUTE but it’s finally picking up and the story is coming together. I felt like I was thrown into it at the beginning expecting to know how everything functioned in this world and it was very off balancing.

Edge of my seat my dudes.

I loved it. I teared up in nearly every chapter with each of the stories of Isabel's fosters.

I’m fully freaking addicted. It’s all I think about, and it’s the number one thing I want to do right when I get home. Am I predicting a few things in the plot? Yes, but that’s just because I’ve read a lot of books in this genre. Do I care? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! There’s still so much going on story wise that it keeps me on my toes.

This is getting fun!

I feel like I’m a child again reading an enchanting bedtime story that I ask my parents to re-read every night! It makes me feel warm and comforted and I am totally captivated by the story. Also the audiobook narrator…. You couldn’t have chosen a better one. Her brogue and the different voices she does! This book has now taken the #1 spot on my favorite reads!

I fear this book may be too spooky for me.
