After starting it, then having to return it to the library, then finally getting it again, it's once more captured my attention! I'll actually be finishing it during this lending period :)

Just got to the good part! How have I never read this before?!

So far, my favorite story is "Late Returns"--it's great, especially reading it as a librarian myself!

I will finish this book, but it is most definitely NOT what I was expecting. The author is mostly talking about transgenders in general and what they have to do/go through, yet the book is marketed as a more personal story (not many personal facts other than vague remembrances). It's frustrating. Also, at one point the author says she's upset that an actor who play transgender isn't transgender. It's called acting!

I liked this book, even though the beginning was a little slow and the ending too neatly wrapped up. But I really liked the middle. I don’t really like the cover though, it almost looks like a dogs paw reaching for a branch instead of a human arm. It looks weird.

It’s like Tamora Pierce meets Harry Potter and a few other fantasy reads. Not too original, but interesting.

The downfall of borrowing ebooks...when someone else has a hold on it when you're almost finished! Silly and entertaining, and at least I don't mind waiting.
