I will finish this book, but it is most definitely NOT what I was expecting. The author is mostly talking about transgenders in general and what they have to do/go through, yet the book is marketed as a more personal story (not many personal facts other than vague remembrances). It's frustrating. Also, at one point the author says she's upset that an actor who play transgender isn't transgender. It's called acting!
